Check Out "Silent Movie, The Musical" Website - Created by Studio15inc
Check out our "Silent Movie... The Musical!!!" website at http://www.studio15inc.com/silentfilm.html. Doug Dorsey and his production company, Studio 15, did an incredible job with creating a great website for "Silent Movie, The Musical." The website has a trailer, some history on the movie, and you can even watch the movie.
Besides building the website, Doug and Studio15inc was an integral part of making the movie. He was one of the key editors, the director of photography, created our posters, and provided a lot of help with submitting our film to various film festivals. Imagine what Studio 15 (www.studio15inc.com) could do for you and for your video production needs!!!

Update: Mad Cowford's Film Wins Best of Jacksonville's 48 Hour Film Project
In brief: We won!
Before we go into details about this exciting news, we want you, our fans, to celebrate our victory with us tonight (May 30th, 2008) at Mad Cowford's comedy improv show at 9th and Main at 8pm. And, if you say, "HOT PIE" you will be rewarded with a 2 for 1 special ($5 for two people, instead of $5 per person)! We will be attempting to show our prize-winning film and show off our awards. Of course, there will be a full show of funny based upon your suggestions! If you cannot make it tonight, we will soon be uploading our film right here on our main page. Thanks again to our sponsors of the film. Without you, we could not have made it happen.
Mad Cowford's Film, "Silent Movie . . . The Musical!" was chosen as the Best of Jax 48-Hour Film, and will go on to the national competition which will be held in early 2009. We will also have the chance to compete in a national "Fall Shootout" and make a 3 minute film sometime later this year. We also got a big check, an actual check for $500, and a trophy.
Most exciting, there were calls for us to perform "The Hot Pie" on stage. Check out some photos of us winning, and dancing, on the T-U website:
I cannot say enough what a pleasure it was to work with everyone on the film, and what an amazing job everyone did. This was truly a team effort.
Aside from Best Film, a number of people were honored individually for their work. If I forget someone, mea culpa, but it is hard keeping SO MANY AWARDS straight:
Best Actress: Teresa Arnold-Simmons Best Make-Up: Rachel Wical Best Costumes: Rachel Wical Best Graphics: Kris Gallagher Best Editing: Kris Gallagher, Sherry Spearman, and Doug Dorsey Best Choreography: Bill Welch (this was a specially created award just for Bill).
Come celebrate our film and our victory with us!
Regards,
