COMEDY FOR CRITTERS
POSTPONED!
The 14th Annual Comedy for Critters has been postponed due to COVID-19! Originally scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Hotel Indigo, the show will be postponed until later this year.
Comedy for Critters has a Silent Auction and other activities followed by a comedy show featuring improv games with the cast of Mad Cowford Improv Comedy! There will be dozens of fantastic items to bid on, raffle items to win, and more!
All proceeds benefit Friends of Jacksonville Animals. FOJA is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works with animal care and protective service organizations in the Jacksonville Community to provide medical care, promote adoptions, and reduce euthanasia. They continue to be instrumental in keeping Jacksonville a model no-kill city and serve as an advocate for animal welfare.
This event is (supposed to be) held in April because April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. Each year, Mad Cowford urges local supporters to “Go Orange for Animals” because orange is the color symbolizing rescue. Mad Cowford Performers will wear orange to promote awareness and audience members are encouraged to wear orange to show their support. Those who wear orange at Comedy for Critters will be given a free raffle ticket.
Tickets are $20 if purchased in advance. They are $25 at the door.
